Fellow:Suthee
Suthee (Dai) is a University Innovation Fellow and an PhD. student studying Management Information System (Business Intelligence) at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). His interested research field is Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Marathon. He has lived in Bangkok since he was born in 1992. When he was young, he would love to play sports such as football, badminton, and table tennis.
Moreover, he was one of the football players of his school during Grade 4 – 6. Then, he pursued a bachelor’s degree in medical technology at Mahidol University. At that time, he participated in several volunteer programs. For example, he was one of the leaders to educate people in the rural area of Thailand and the community nearby the university about the basics of sanitation and how to interpret laboratory results.
After graduated bachelor’s degree, he went to be a sale representative of a medical importer firm. Then, he got a scholarship from NIDA to pursue a master’s degree in business administration in the major of finance and management information system. Moreover, He has been volunteering with a non-profit organization twice a year, The Thai Red Cross Society, for fundraising help. In addition, he was chosen as one of the seven finalist teams for Teradata University Network: Data Challenge for a non-profit organization at CA, USA. He has an excellent skill to use advanced business analytics tools such as SAS, Tableau, RapidMinor, R Studio, and Simio. Furthermore, he also obtained professional certificates from SAS Enterprise Miner and Project Management Professional (PMP) during his MBA learning.
In 2018, he got a scholarship from the Royal Golden Jubilee (RGJ), funded by the Royal Thai Government, at NIDA. There, he was exposed to the University Innovation Fellows (UIF). His team enhanced an innovation and entrepreneurial mindset with the project named NIDA HUB which is an available design thinking space for generating new ideas and developing student’s prototypes. Furthermore, NIDA HUB also provided interdisciplinary design thinking course for everyone in NIDA to improve their services with innovations or new solutions and it also performed design thinking workshop for external institutes such as the department of medical services, Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency, Thailand's National Electronics and Computer Technology Center, and so on. The ultimate goal of the NIDA HUB is to augment innovation and entrepreneurial mindset to everyone for our country development.
