About Sebastián

Sebastián Calvermater is a Chemical Technologist graduated from “Universidad de la Republica”, Uruguay in 2015, currently doing a major in Food Analisys at “Universidad Tecnológica del Uruguay” UTEC. Since then he has been working as a Fiberline Operator at UPM, The Biofore Company in Fray Bentos, RN, Uruguay, In 2018 he traveled to New Haven, CT, USA in order to take part of the program Yale Summer Session, attending “Chemistry in Context” and “Environmental Inequalities”. Later that year he joined the University Innovation Fellows program and participated in related activities at UTEC in order to become an agent of change, helping improve the education process of fellow students, something he is passionate about and constantly working on.
