Sam Gans is a University Innovation Fellow of the Fall 2019 cohert, at Elon University, from Richmond, Virginia. Sam is studying finance, with a double minor in communications and accounting. 

At Elon, Sam is also involved with other things around campus. He is a member of Beta Alpha Psi, a business fraternity with a focus in Finance and Accounting. Sam is also the Treasurer of the Real Estate club at Elon University, and hopes to later pursue in Commercial Real Estate. Most importantly, Sam has found that he has a special interest in children, so he volunteers as mentor/tutor for the program called "Takes a Village" which brings struggling students from Alamance county to Elon, where Elon students mentor them. In these roles Sam has been able to gauge his most aspects of what Elon has offer, and what he is interested in pursuring.

Since High School, Sam has been passionate about education, espcially for those who are less fortunate, so he hopes to be able to you this passion to help motivate his change in the world.
