Biography of Lesly

Lesly Patiño is an Industrial Engineering student at Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología (UTEC).

She has been a fellow since 2022, actively participating in collaborative events with her cohort. One notable event was a treasure hunt at UTEC designed for incoming students. She led the FDay project at UTEC, an event where professors and students share how they turned mistakes into success stories. FDay is one of the events Lesly enjoyed organizing the most.

Lesly enjoys mentoring other students and participating in motivational spaces that emphasize the key to success. She is always seeking ways to develop and improve her abilities.

Lesly has also been actively involved in student organizations like SWE - Society of Women Engineers and Prounity UTEC, which have provided her with opportunities to enhance her soft skills.

Achievements of Lesly

Director of Workshop at SWE UTEC: Lesly organized "Tech Friends by SWE," which involved developing science workshops for students from schools.

Director of Strategic Alliances and Events at Prounity UTEC: She organized events related to methodologies for developing projects.

Peer Mentoring at UTEC: She was a mentor for freshman students at UTEC, giving them advice on university life.

Part of the Felizmente UTEC team: Lesly participated in events by giving sessions on active learning and providing advice for good mental health.
