Bio

Durga Pranathi Nerella is an Undergraduate at Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology in the stream of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. And she is a Candidate for University Innovation Fellow Program by Stanford. She hails from Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, India. a place with the biggest chilli market yard in Asia.


Coming from an agricultural background she faced many hurdles in her life. And used that experience to become strong and face the problems bravely. She earned honors in high school and is currently a part of the "chairman's club" at her college (club for the students with good academic grades). She has excelled in both her academic and extracurricular pursuits. She participated in javelin throw, shot put, and kho-kho competitions at the state and district level. She won numerous Prizes in the sport of javelin throw at the district level and competed at the state level.


She excels at handling multiple tasks at once. She is Optimistic and Reliable. She enjoys exploring social media and discovering cutting-edge technologies as well as some ecological practices. She takes pleasure in reading the news because it enlightens her about the world. In the future, She hopes to use her passion for community engagement and sustainability to create new standards for development in the third world. She has a strong belief in "The goal is not to be better than the other man, but your previous self." by The Dalai Lama
