Bio
Ainara is a student of Information Technology in UTEC, she currently lives in Montevideo, and works in a technological company as a GIS operator.
Growing up, she was a really curious girl, wanting to learn new things all the time. During primary school Ainara went to a music school were she learned to play flute and dance. When she was on high school she developed her interest in new cultures through languages, during that time she took classes of portuguese and german and learned english by herself.
She is particulary interested in the inclusion of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and how they can be more involved not only in the educational system but also in the technological world. During her time in the education system she was always in contact with people with ASD and was able to observe how the majority of them did not complete their secondary education.
One of her goals is to ensure that no one is left behind and that everyone feels supported enough to choose to continue their education and become independent.
Besides her studies at UTEC, she is also doing web courses in areas that are of her interest, currently web development and design courses.
In her free time Ainara likes to dance and investigate about space.
