Bio
Hey! I'm Sam Ramirez, an Elon University student of the 2021 cohort. I was born in Medellin, Colombia and currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I've always been curious, enthusiastic, and more than willing to assist others in whatever I can! For me, satisfaction is derived from hard work that benefits others, my immediate surroundings, and my larger environment. My current goals are to pursue my passions (including science, art, languages, and environmental sustainability to name a few), explore their intersections, and along the journey, work to make each place I reach better than I found it.
Achievements
High School: AP Scholar, National Hispanic Scholar, HSF Scholar. Earned Associate Degree and High School diploma simultaneously.
College: Elon University Presidential Scholarship, Jerry W. Lawson Biology Scholarship, and Reddish-Morgan Biology Scholarship.
