He is currently in the second year of his study, Technology and Liberal Arts & Sciences (BSc). While Thyne was born in the Netherlands working as a Data Scientist at AFKLM Cargo where he has lived abroad uses data to optimise process within the majority of his life in Cameroon, Rwanda, and Yemenbusiness. Thyne focuses on In the fields Fall of Entrepreneurship and Computer Science. At the UT 2022 he is also taking an honors course plans to start his Masters at Erasmus University in Processes of Change and plays competitive basketballBusiness Analytics while still working for KLM Partime.
Thyne is highly interested was born in anything technology related especially Amsterdam but lived his entire life abroad in Yemen, Rwanda, and Cameroon. This has shaped who he is today and his ultimate goal is to one day move back and use his expertise to help businesses compete with the recent developments in western world. At the fields University of Twente Thyne majoring in Artificial Intelligence (AI)and Entrepreneurship. This stems from his interest in anything technology related. In However what Thyne remember most from his studies at the University of Twente is the activities and societies he participated in next to his second semester study. Next to UIF he together with a group was part of students built a plan on the possible implementation of an artificially intelligent system Dutch Student Investment Fund where as the Deal-Flow director he invested 50,000 Euro into the dutch electrical grid to increase both its efficiency and resilienceprop-tech startup Clairify, which has since gotten half million seed funding a couple months after.
Next to that Thyne took on the role of Financial Coordinator or the UIF Twente. With that role, he strategises on how best to divide the funds to make the largest impact on Campus. With that role, he is also part of the coordinating team and its responsibility to continue to look for partners with similar goals to increase the presence and image of UIF in Twente.
As part of UIF Twente Thyne organised the UIF European Meetup in multiple different editions from a free fully online 24-hour meetup, a one week Leaderships of Innovation course, and hopefully in 2022 a physical meetup inviting fellows from all over the world.
