Sophiia has origins coming from France and Argentina although she has been living her whole life in France until she was 15 years old. She decided at this age that it was time to leave her family and undertook a journey alone to the UK in order to finish her high school degree where she was able to do the International Baccalaureate. While being in the UK, she was able to learn through her experience to take into consideration one's paradigm of life being moulded by one's culture and external forces to broaden her mind and learn that from one situation, multiple different perspectives can be taken. She also found a deep passion for philosophy that supported well what she was observing from interacting with so many different cultures. Sophiia then decided that her next journey would be studying Psychology in Spain and this is how she ended up in IE University being now part as well of the UIF community! For the future, she has interests mainly in Clinical Psychology with a more specific focus on Developmental Psychopathologies.
