Bio

My name is Keegan Colunga, and I am a student at the University of North Florida. Originally from Texas, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida in the Fall of 2020 to pursue a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a dual focus on general philosophy and management. Prior to moving, I earned an A.S. degree with a concentration in business management, through a dual enrollment program at Dallas College.

During my time at the University of North Florida, I have occupied a few leadership positions. I am currently a Student Facilitator for the Honors College's First Year Colloquium seminar, as well as the Honors Student Union On-Campus Representative. In addition, I have been involved in a number of volunteering organizations, most recently Florida's First Coast YMCA as a tutor for elementary school students. Prior to this, I was involved in local food banks back home, organizing collection campaigns and even hosting my own.

I am also a proud Eagle Scout, and an active member of Scouts BSA. I am the recipient of two scholarships and several other distinctions with regard to this achievement.
