=== About ===
I am a current sophomore at Union College. Although I am a biochemistry major, I have an immense passion for learning new things every day. Therefore, I have taken classes in topics ranging from Anthropology to Chinese and Russian. In the future, I plan on taking acting classes and picking up some computer programming knowledge. In my spare time I love to write spoken word, read a good book, and going on walks with my Nikon DSLR in hand. In high school, I have had experience facilitating topics on leadership and social entrepreneurship, so I'm excited to continue that work with my UIF teammates. At Union I have led several discussions with students on a variety of topics such as motivation and success in weekly Dinner around Discussion and Diversity meetings. I am currently doing research on metacaspases in the lab and I am a part time chemistry tutor. This past summer, I worked at a comfort care home, taking care of the terminally ill and cemented my goals of getting an MD. Til then, I want to enjoy life and gain as much experience possible from the awesome opportunities college gives me.
