Bio

Kasahara Ai is a sophomore student at Tohoku University in Japan. She is major in architecture, but she has not done anything very specialized yet.

She was born and raised in Miyagi, Japan. She has been played basketball since she was an elementary school student, so she likes playing and watching basketball! But now, she belongs to sparrow dance team in Miyagi. Sparrow dance is a traditional dance in Sendai city, Miyagi. Sparrow dance uses only Japanese fan. She performs it at the Aoba festival in Sendai.

She have been in Tohoku since I was born, so she likes Tohoku very much. However, Tohoku area damaged by Great East Japan earthquake in 2011. Tohoku area is still in the middle of reconstruction. Then, she wants to enliven the region with Tohoku University. Through this program, she wants to deepen their relationship with the local community.
