Alberto is from Westfield, NJ and he is a commuter student. In March of 2017, James Hynes '69, '01H, and his wife Anne Marie Hynes announced that they were donating $15 million to the College to create the Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
At Iona College, Alberto became involved with the Hynes Institute after going to one of the workshops held at Gael Ventures (Campus incubator). Alberto was then invited to join the team as the first intern and became involved with the incubator's 3D printer. Alberto now helps students design and prototype their designs for both class projects and business ventures.
