I am from Panama and I am a PhD student in Human-Centered Design at Florida Tech. I have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering & STEM Education and an MBA in Healthcare Management also from Florida Tech. I am also an intern at a local Medical device company and a Institute of Technology, Resident Director , FYE Instructor, and Product & Strategy Intern at Florida Tech Medicomp Inc. </span>
<span style="fontWhat that means: She studies Human-size:medium;"> My passion Centered Design and is helping others working on her literature review for her dissertation topic, she supervises resident assistants in an upperclassmen area and using technology in medicine works with the department of Residence Life to provide better diagnostics safe and solutions educational events to health problemsstudents, she teaches first year experience for first-year engineering students where she will incorporate the KEEN mindset and 3C's through a group project and she works at a medical device company in the areas of product design, marketing, and strategy. She is now a PhD student in Human-Centered Design and teaches first-year experience during the fall semester to teach in first-year engineering students. She was selected to represent Florida Tech at the KEEN conference as an FYE instructor and is part of the fields group of Engineering faculty working on the KEEN project for makerspaces and incorporating entrepreneurial mindset to first year engineering students. Maria was trained as a University Innovation. My hobbies include rollerblading, bikingFellow in Spring 2017, and dancingattended the Silicon Valley meetup in November 2017. I am a very extrovert She continued her support on the Innovation Council and Florida Tech and promoted the ideas from the conference within the department of Residence Life and outdoor personwhen teaching First Year Experience classes. </span>
