bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Entrepreneurial Skills Certification. Prior to attending Lawrence Technological University, Steven was an active member of the growing STEM community at his high school. He participated in the pilot program and would go on to co-develop curriculum for his high school's nationally-recognized, STEMx course. The highlight of Steven's high school STEM career was being a student speaker at a National Summit on Accelerating Innovation, hosted by General Motors.Promoting STEM education in the community, Steven was an active volunteer with his school's "Super STEM Saturday" program. It was here where AP Physics students, like himself, would run workshops and activities to introduce elementary school students to STEM at an early age.

One of Steven's passions is cars and the auto industry, which began at an early age. Growing up in a suburb of The Motor City (aka Detroit), he's always had some sort of automotive derivative in his life. From attending major car shows and taking 1000's of photos, to working in the garage on projects; Steven enjoys every aspect of the automotive culture. (Take a look at his social media news feeds and you'll understand the extent of his passion for the industry) In his free time, Steven also enjoys running, playing baseball, listening to music and playing the saxophone. If you have any questions, thoughts on why bios are written in third person, or just want to chat about cars or the auto industry, send him an email at sgraczyk@ltu.edu.
