Priyanka Somasundaram, commonly known as Priyanka, is a graduate student at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis(IUPUI). She is an Indian native who is pursuing a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction. She received her bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering in Sriperumbadur, India. She worked at Fore Brain Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer. And an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture. She is now a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate students and an executive member of her university's IDEA Fellows club.

She is a travel enthusiast who has visited six countries. She enjoys good food, wild adventures, and thought-provoking books. She plays ping pong and has represented her school at the district level. She enjoys dancing and posing for pictures. She also enjoys empathizing with people in order to understand their needs and solve user problems.


She was a member of the Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers for two years in a row, representing the students in her department. She also received an award for her innovative project at a national level technical symposium. She is also a district level table tennis player.

She has competed in intra-college cultural festivals and won dance awards. She has also organized a national level technical symposium at her university for her department.
