certificates in Fashion Design and Entrepreneurship. Nzinga considers herself to be an active member of the creative community, with hobbies ranging from sewing and textile manipulation, to singing and performance. Through her training with the University Innovation Fellows, Nzinga has found renewed assurance of the power of both creativity and empathy in the innovation process. Nzinga enjoys the freedom that design thinking allows for this creativity as well as interdisciplinary conversations. She strongly believes that we have a lot to learn from each other through candid, open-minded conversation and collaboration. She is excited to apply her learnings from UIF both in entrepreneurial spaces, as well as everyday life.

Outside of UIF, Nzinga is the Treasurer of Wisconsin Black Student Union and the Registrar for the Conquering Lions Futbol Club of Milwaukee. She is a proud PEOPLE Scholar, HAMP Foundation Scholar, and Gates Scholar.
