Bio

Nicolás is a candidate of the University Innovation Fellow, holding a bachelor’s degree in economics and currently studying Data Science at the Universidad de Montevideo.

He is originally from the rural zone of Paysandú, a small city in Uruguay, where he lived until 2019 when he moved to the capital to continue his studies at the Universidad de Montevideo. This change not only brought him to a new city, but also to a world of motivation and personal growth, by meeting extraordinary people who inspired him to pursue his biggest dreams.

Nicolás holds a strong interest in innovation, data science and the development of new businesses that carry a substantial value proposition, improving people's lives. He is passionate about making a positive impact in the world and is convinced that great change begins with the actions we take every day.

He is always looking to expand his knowledge and skills, committed to achieving his aspirations and making a significant contribution to society.

In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, walking in the park, and spending time with family and friends. Additionally, he loves to travel, meet new places and people.

Achievements

Due to his efforts and academic dedication, he was awarded a scholarship from the Universidad de Montevideo. Additionally, he was selected to attend a workshop in Poland that covered strategic organizational management. Also, he participated in the Leaders among Leaders program of the university focused on training students in public speaking, self-awareness and solving problems methodologies.
