Lucas Manke is a junior at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Business Administration. Lucas grew up in Anoka, MN where his love for math, science, helping others, and the great state of Minnesota lead him to pursue an engineering undergraduate degree from UST. When Lucas' professor infromed him of the UIF program, he saw it as an opportunity to bring his love for creative problem solving and making a difference to others on campus. Aside from his studies and time as a fellow, Lucas is a cadet in the Army ROTC program at the University of Minnesota, a member of the UST Men's swim team, a member of the Student Alumni Council, and a member of Engineers for a Sustanable World. Lucas' interests include running, spending time in the outdoors, learning about different cultures, and spending time with family and friends.
