Bio

Lucía Gabriela Corilla Grados is student of the last year of the Communication and Advertising career at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). She lives in Lima, the capital of Peru, with her mom, dad, uncle and grandmother.

She has had the opportunity to be a Marketing Intern in the health and education field for approximately 2 years. Empathy, interpersonal communication and creativity are the skills that sand out, therefore, it has motivated her to participate in different innovation competitions, winning together with her team, the DigiEduHack hackathon promoted by the European Commission, with a proposal for an application for children and teenagers about CSE.

In her free time she likes to dance, Lucía has been taking dance classes since she was 12 years old, especially urban dance and hip hop. She likes doing sports and stretching classes. In addition, she has a fondness for psychological thriller movies and series.

Lucía is very interested in contributing to improve education, the environment or the treatment of animals. She spent 2 years as a volunteer teacher in a school in a vulnerable area of ​​Peru teaching mathematics, drawing, painting and dancing to first graders, in order for them to discover their skills and begin to build their dreams.

Now, Lucía is very excited to be part of the UIF program because it will allow her to meet many people around the world, as well as grow personally and professionally.
