About

Katarrey Smith is a University Innovation Fellow and an undergraduate Business Management – Entrepreneurship and Innovation student at

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T). Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Katarrey’s passion lies in creating, innovating, and disrupting industries, including ecommerce and agriculture.

While attending NC A&T, Katarrey has become a leader in entrepreneurship and innovation by displaying leadership in being the president of his university’s Enactus chapter and Mr. Aggie Student Entrepreneur. Using these roles, Katarrey is pursuing to raise the level of business related activities and opportunities for likeminded students. In 2017, he won the Techstars ’52 Hour Frenzy’ Business Pitch Competition as being accepted as an Enactus USA Student Advisory Board Member.

To take his university to new heights, Katarrey is challenging the status quo of his college norms and experimenting with new ways of teaching, learning, and acquiring business skills in hopes of improving student networking, collaborations, and startups.
