Bio
Karl Ng is a student of Pharmacy in Chinese Medicine. While his studies are rooted in traditional wellness, his path into social innovation was sparked by a modern-day reality. His perspective profoundly shifted after a university workshop gave him the opportunity to visit residents in Hong Kong's subdivided units.
Passion
Stepping into those homes, Karl saw the challenging living conditions faced by members of his own community. That experience ignited a fire in him. It’s no longer enough to just learn about health; He feel a deep responsibility to apply knowledge to help those in need. His passion is to become a person who creates tangible, positive change, starting right here in his local community.
Goal
Karl is driven to use his unique background in Chinese Medicine to design innovative and accessible wellness solutions for vulnerable populations. He wants to engage in programs like UIF to collaborate with students from all disciplines, learn new ways to tackle complex social issues, and equip himself to become an effective and influential advocate for community health.
