Fellow:Jake Ropson
Jake Ropson is a junior at Colorado School of Mines studying Chemical Engineering. He hopes to use his degree to actively pursue research in semiconductors and processors. Later on, his ultimate goal is to start his own company dedicated towards photovolatic technology.
Jake enjoys hanging out with friends and being outdoors, playing a chess, and all water activities. Coming to Colorado, he has taken on snowboarding and therefore falling down as two of his out of school hobbies. Aside from his hobbies, Jake is involved with the Adventure Leadership Community (ALC), which involves intertwining teaching freshman leadership traits while all sharing the common passion for outdoors. Furthermore, he is involved with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, a program dedicated towards the collaboration of current and future chemical engineers on projects and current research.
