Bio
Ece Sağıroğlu is a junior Molecular Biology and Genetics student from Koç University, Turkey. Since her early years, she has always be driven to create a meaningful positive change in the world which has lead her to study molecular biology and genetics with the aim of curing diseases and decreasing the pain in the world. In her studies, thus, she is focussed on drug design and is currently doing her internship on computational drug design, in University of Vienna and working on several projects about structure-based drug design. Due to the same original drive of her, which is creating a meaningful positive change in the world, she has also worked on numerous social projects and organizations, and most recently completed the Millenium Fellowship programme under the directorship of the MCN, United Nations. She cares about sharing the knowledge and inspiring others, thus, leading the position of the Science Society Co-President in her university, she is aimed to organize more events that reach and spark people.
