Devin Spatz is a 2016 candidate for the University Innovation Fellows program. A fourth year Electrical Engineering major at the University of Dayton, he is an undergraduate research assistant in the Microwave Electronics Laboratory. Devin has been involved with writing an honors thesis for which he researched and designed a varactor based phase shifter. Aside from research, Devin is a tutor for the introductory circuits classes and is a member of Tau Beta Pi and IEEE. Outside of class, he spends his time bouldering at the indoor rock climbing wall and hiking. Devin will be continuing his studies at the University of Dayton by pursuing a maters degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in microelectronics and anticipates graduating in Spring 2017.
