My name is André J Guardia, and I’m studying Applied Physics with a minor in Entrepreneurship here at IIT. I am from San José, Costa Rica. Ever since I was little I remember myself tinkering, taking stuff apart, wanting to build something cool. I have always wanted to be an inventor, and believe there is special value in using our ideas, skills and passion to craft solutions that can one day change people’s lives. This is why I started project AID, an initiative focused on developing a sustainable desalination and Mineral Extraction system. I am also the Intinium Idea Incubator Project Lead. One day, I want to be a successful entrepreneur. I take great pride in designing a program that teaches me and everyone involved exactly what we need to make this dream a reality.
