Fellow:Audrey Tompkins
Audrey Tompkins is a senior in Fire Protection & Safety Engineering Technology at Oklahoma State University. She was born in Tulsa,
OK and was raised in Owasso, OK till she moved to Edmond, OK at the age of 12. Throughout high school she was very involved with FFA (Future Farmers of America). This program helped her to develop leadership, responsibility, public speaking abilities, teamwork and much more. She decided to go into the agricultural industry program at OSU. During her first year of college she became more involved with the Fire Protection organizations. Fire investigation and Safety caught her interest, so she switched majors to Fire Protection & Safety Engineering Technology. This is where she found her true passion! She has enjoyed all the classes and the internship opportunities that the program had to offer. She has been blessed to stumble upon this program and meet such great people along the way. She has interned for WPX energy, Valero Energy Corporation, & Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. These internships have helped her learn all the different aspects of the Oil & Gas industry. She plans to work in the Oil & Gas industry after graduation.
