Bio

20-year-old Hicks Honors student, Kirsten "Ella" Green, was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL discovered a passion for pediatrics and a love for reading, writing, and music. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience at the University of North Florida, she is driven by the aspiration to become a pediatrician and is committed to pursuing medical school. Her desire to positively impact children's lives fuels this ambition.

Previous roles as a Volunteer Coordinator and Extended Day Teacher, combined with her current positions as a Peer Career Coach and Co-facilitator for the classes "Selfie in Society" and "Design Thinking" have developed her interpersonal skills and highlighted the value of collaboration. These experiences have also solidified her perspective that cultivating lasting connections with others is a key motivation behind her educational goals and her desire to contribute to a positive change in the world around her.

With a commitment to lifelong learning and a intent to contribute through research, innovation, and creativity, Ella actively welcomes new opportunities for growth.
