Promoting student innovation and</span></span><span style="font-size:small">'''entrepreneurship:''' At Morgan State University, our leadership circle has invested lots of energy and time to find the resources that are available for students here on the Morgan Campus. It is an excellent job to look into different areas that will help the Morgan students to develop entrepreneurship and innovative thinking. The circle landscape canvas depicts on different accessible resources for the success of Morgan students, unfortunately only few percentage of students are aware of all these resources setup to meet their entrepreneurship and innovative needs. Morgan State University is an excellent institution full of diverse students from different background and ethnic groups around the world. The diversity makes it a better ecosystem to practice and educate students on innovation and entrepreneurship.</span>

Encouraging faculty innovation and entrepreneurship: </span><span style="font-size:small">The faculty at Morgan are intrigued and more willing to advance entrepreneurship and innovation into the Morgan community. For instance, Dr. Foster is one best faculty that help to promote I&E on Morgans campus likewise the President, Dr. David Wilson, has expressed his upkeep on the I&E development. Empowered&nbsp;and motivated faculty will in this manner fortify the advancement and business enterprise attitude in the instructors' to students. The vision will be shared and students will begin to comprehend what I&E is all about. Dr. Amory, the chair of civil engineering Department, has expressed that this development is essential to him because he admires the idea of thinking outside the box and being creative, and he has a few thoughts on the best way to accelerate this development for example, project based learning is a good scenario of innovation. The office is always willing to assault MSU faculty on patent applications, trademarks, and copyrights. The office wants to help MSU innovators with technology marketing to best benefit the inventor, the investor, as well as the University. The company must trust the student body and have had a prior relationship with the school. Also, it is hard for companies to promote work that doesn’t remain top secret, due to the discretion in certain areas of interest. None the less, MSU is working to build relationships with companies to be able to open up opportunities like that. For example, Dr. Joseph A. Whittaker helped promote a joint cooperative agreement from the Earth Sciences Division of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. MSU has been working hard to promote more opportunities like these, and obtain more in the near future.</span>

Engaging with regional and local economic development efforts:</span></span><span style="font-size:small">As far as economic development, The Division of Research and Economic Development (DRED) supports MSU staff with their research efforts. MSU feels the more research available, the better experiences the students will have. OVPR&ED works on a consistent bases with deans and department chairs t help promote institutional and cross-disciplinary research initiatives. With a 500 thousand dollar STEM student internship program and 23.3 Million dollars’ worth of grants from the National Institute of Health. MSU Vice President Dr. Victor R. McCarry, the deans, and department chairs are still working to obtain more money for better regional and local economic development opportunities.</span>
