Josh was a part of a program through Leadertreks that was focused on developing young leaders who would be able to create change. While in the program he developed a passion for showing others how they can be leaders, and spent the following summer working for Leadertreks as an intern. In the Fall of 2017 Josh started his freshman year at Michigan Technological University. He will major in Materials Science and Engineering. As a University Innovation Fellow in training at Michigan Tech, Josh has seen the importance of innovation on campuses and because of his passion for leadership has seen how leadership and innovation can work side by side.
