Bio

Maria Teresa is a dreamer, enthusiastic and optimistic woman.

She was born on March 1, 2002 in Santiago, Chile. Teresa is currently 22 years old. Daughter of Francisco and Teresa, she is the second of 6 siblings (whom she loves very much).

She currently studies Service Management in Universidad de Los Andes, Chile. Teresa has a minor in Philosophy and an other in Business in the same study house.

Throughout her life, she has always participated in student leadership and apostolic activities. When she was in Colegio Los Andes (2007-2020), she participated in the Student Council wo consecutive years. Now, in university, she was first participant and then president of the Student Council of philosophy and humanities' Faculty (2021 and 2022). She is a very catholic women who has participated, supported and founded several projects related with mission to the most disadvantaged people and formation of young leaders involved with the church.(Fronteras '22, Fronteras '23, Redini '24 and Vale la Pena '24)

She's passionate about human relationships and since 2023 the has a personal entrepreneurship ("Dinamik") of board games and group dynamics that seek to deepen these relationships through questions, conversation, penances and shared anecdotes.

When Maria was little, her family moved to Cambridge for a while were she learned the local language and shared with people from different countries and cultures. This experience along with some family history has made her family and friends a very important part of her life. She loves spending time with them and tries to spend some alone time with each one.

Regarding sports, she loves walking, running, hiking and MTB. And regarding hobbies, Teresa likes photography, painting and cooking. Additionally, she loves crafts, especially embroidery and knitting.

She loves to travel and explore, but always coming back home to share her experience with her loved ones. She would love to live on the countryside near the capital. Looks forward to work somewhere she sees the impact she is making in other people's soul's an life's.

Teresa firmly believes that young people have a lot to give if they are authentic and protagonists of their own lives.
