She was born in Walnut Creek, California before moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she spent most of her childhood. Annika is passionate about identifying problems within the community and innovating solutions. In her free time, she practices Japanese tea ceremony, goes to the gym, and plays board games with friends. Annika is a member of the Honor’s College at Marshall University and is on the Dean’s List for the College of Business. She is also the Pledge Educator for her fraternity and works as the Treasurer for Marshall University’s Residence Hall Association.</span></span>
