Annika Behnke is a University Innovation Fellow who was launched at Marshall University in 2019. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in April 2022 with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with minors in Japanese, psychology, and management. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Science in Accountancy with an expected graduation date in April 2023. She was born in Walnut Creek, California before moving to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she spent most of her childhood. Annika is passionate about identifying problems within the community and innovating solutions. In her free time, she practices Japanese tea ceremony, goes to the gym, and plays board games with friends. Annika was a member of the Honor’s College at Marshall University and was on the Dean’s List for the College of Business. She also served as the Pledge Educator, Senior Vice President, Vice President of Chapter Operations, and Chancellor for her fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and worked as a fellow at Marshall University's Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (iCenter). In 2020, Annika received Marshall University's Sophomore Leadership Award. Annika also serves as a member of the leadership team for Marshall University's chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma and is a member of Beta Alpha Psi and Phi Kappa Phi.
