[[File:SPMVV.png]]Rao, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, with the fervent desire to train women students as better builders of the Nation and to inculcate skills of leadership in all aspects of life.The University was established under the Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswavidyalayam Act of 1983,which has come into force on the 14 of April 1983.It was started with ten faculties and 300 students and twenty staff members. Today the University has a student population nearly 4000 and an academic staff of 105 and 131 academic consultants. This year the University has 59 courses at the post-graduate and undergraduate level and a good component of research. The campus of Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is spread out in a lush green area of 138.43 acres. The University is situated at a distance of 3 km from the railway and bus stations of Tirupati.The campus has the necessary buildings to run its academic programmes and administrative machinery. There are separate buildings for Humanities and Sciences, University Administration, Central Library, University Auditorium, Sericulture Complex, and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and also an independent building for Computer Science, Business Management and Engineering College.

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is led by seasoned academicians, committed educationalists and value conscious. The complete layout of the campus, the academic ethos and the mindscape of life in the campus is well conceived, articulated and designed by faculty, administration.  The depth of infrastructure available and scope of the academic exposure provided in a well structured manner enables each and every student to pursue one’s academic goals in a stress free atmosphere. A committed faculty is on hand to guide and assist the students. All extraordinary streams are encouraged and ample opportunities are provided to help the students, so inclined, to grow in confidence and stature. This institution is truly a blend of various cultures and religions from both the Telugu speaking States. Maximum opportunities will be provided in the campus to encourage initiative, self-reliance and leadership qualities.Many workshops are being conducted since last year and many students are interested in  participating many technical and other university activities.Faculty encourage students for participating in activities and motivate students to participate. ~~our~~ Our team of uif is:Paleti Pavani,Roshini Chowdary ,Mounika Arekapudi,Abburi Bhavana,pyla keerthana,dantu sai pooja mahathi,veluri tanusha,gayatri vishnubhatla. '''Strategy #1: Provide feedback mechanisms for students to give input to the university administration''' #1: Provide social feedback systems This can be done by having certain social media pages for feedbacks.This will help the students to give in proper inputs to the university #2: Implement student surveys Student surveys help the management get to know what  majority of the students require and expect from the university. Strategy #2: Promote collaboration across disciplnes on campus #1: Promote new and existing spaces for inter disciplinary courses This type of system helps students who are interested in other subjects outside their curriculum and have interest in earing credits by learning courses of their interest. '''#2: Host a SPMVV TEDX viewing session live''' This would be the best option for students who cannot afford the range of the show tickets and would prefer viewing it live instead skipping it. '''Strategy #3: Involve a startup tech''' Connect top level students to student led startps so that the exchange of ideas will increase and also help in increase of job oppurtunitis for the other university students. '''Strategy #4: Hold more student led hackathons on  a regular basis'''  Start an SPMVV hackathon series(SHS), a series of monthly held hackathons with different organizations and faculties to ensure collaborations.
