<span style="font-size:medium;">My name is <u>Maria Fernanda Sagastume</u>, but my family and friends call me “Marifer”.  I am from Panama (Central America) and I am a junior in Biomedical Engineering and STEM Education. I enjoy the tropical climate so I love going to the beach, biking and rollerblading. I’m an active member of several organizations at Florida Institute of Technology like The Biomedical Engineering Society (President), Student Government Association (Secretary), Intervarsity Cristian Fellowship, Latin American Student Association, Society of Hispanic Engineers and Future Educators of America.</span>
