<h2> == Overview </h2>== The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) was founded in 1988. As of 2015 at the age of 37, UTS was ranked number one in ''Times Higher Education'' top 100 under 50 in Australia.&nbsp; Overall UTS had a ranking of&nbsp; 21 worldwide for all universities founded in the last 50 years. UTS is quickly climbing the world rankings, its degrees have become world renounced and respected. To stay on top of education, UTS has acknowledged that the educational system must change and adapt due to a changing work environment. One major aspect of education that has been lacking in higher education is innovation and entrepreneurship. Because UTS is such a new university, they are less restricted by traditions and more suited to adapt to the times and provide better education for the ever-changing work environment around the world. &nbsp; The university is trying to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, by providing a large variety of opportunities to students.<p>Sample text</p><p><br /></p><h2> == Student Entrepreneurship </h2>== <p>Sample text</p><p><br /></p><h2> == Faculty Innovation and Entrepreneurship </h2>== Innovation has been included in the course work of a few first year engineering classes for many years, through subjects called design and innovation fundamentals, Mechanical design and Engineering Communication. But in 2015, the university went a step further and created an entire course based around design thinking, Entrepreneurship and innovation all creative intelligence and innovation. According to the Startup Ecosystem Index, Sydney has 64% of Australia’s Start-ups. But UTS is located in Ultimo which is home to…   == Start-Up Companies == UTS’s constent support and enterpearnural education has assested may students develop million dollar start up companies straight out of university.
