= OVERVIEW =

It was formed in the 1980s to provide a better quality technical education to students. The college is located on a 30 acres plot at Chinna-Amiram in Bhimavaram – Juvvalapalem. State highway, 2 miles from Bhimavaram town, that is well known as “Second Bardoli” and is famous for “Pancharamas” (Somaramam)Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in the year 1980 by major donations from Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju.The college was accorded permanent affiliation by Andhra University from 1987 for four-year degree courses. And now this college and has been declared as an autonomous institution by AICTE. NAAC Accredited “A” grade with 3.6 rating out of 4 .The College was registered under the section 2 (f) of the UGC Act and it is eligible to receive central assistance under section 12 (b) of UGC. The College is recognized by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and the Institution of Engineers (India) and accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation, AICTE, New Delhi).The college has 6 departments which includes Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics EngineeringEach department has its own student organizations , technology centre and an innovation centre where the ideas of the studentscan students can be shared and implemented.</span></span>
== Student Entrepreneurship ==
<span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:larger;">Collaboration between universities and industries is critical for skills development (education and training), and for the promotion of entrepreneurship (start-ups and spin-offs). To get the students ready with industry experience University adapt some measures to give hands on experience by Campus Recruitment Training(CRT). University also has signed many MOUs with various companies.</span></span>
