[[File:GurlovleenRathore.jpg|thumb]]Gurlovleen Rathore is a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Engineering program at Texas A&M University. Her research interests include problem-based learning, design creativity and innovation, engineering design education and STEM future faculty professional development. Her dissertation examines the effects of design problem characteristics on creativity of students, to inform construction of design problems that are conducive to promoting student creativity. In additional to research, Gurlovleen leads recitation for a recently transformed hybrid course on Engineering Ethics. She also chairs the ASEE Student Division (SD) conference program for the 2014 ASEE Conference & Exposition. She has a BSE in Engineering Physics and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
<br/>Gurlovleen has been accepted to the Spring 2014 University Innovations Fellow (UIF) program. She is looking forward to extending her interest in creativity and innovation past experimental research through the UIF program. She is keen on (co-) leading an entrepreneurial-focused change movement on Texas A&M. She is also excited to meet and learn from the past and current cohort of UI Fellows.
