== - PROMOTING STUDENT INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP -  ==
<p style="text-align: justify;"></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"></p><p style="text-align: justify;">UTEC (Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología) is committed to develop I&E skills in the students through business and management courses, as well as encouraging them through events and presentations in UTEC Ventures and competitions like Disrupton (like a Hackaton focused on solving a problem inside the University) and Hackatons.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Also, UTEC holds several workshops to catalyze the creation of startups and world Start-up events in order to promote I&E, like Global Startup Lab, GIST Startup Bootcamp, Peru Design Week, fiiS (International Festival for Social Innovation) and the 1776 Challenge Cup. Since you are a freshman you face all kind of problems by Vivir la Ingeniería (Live the Engineering) projects. To tackle them, students can use spaces like Fablab, UTEC garage or the Product Design Laboratory. Some of them are good enough to participate in collaborative projects with MIT, Harvard and Colorado School of Mines.</p>
