<u>Startup Aggieland</u> is a brand new student incubator designed to provide students with who have launch-ready concepts, with the opportunity to receive co-working spaces, mentors, and a supportive community.&nbsp; They lack laboratories, equipment, and funding. <u>Aggies in Business (AiB)</u> is another brand new program that provides business consulting for local businesses, and enables students to be employed by the university to perform this&nbsp; consulting work.&nbsp; The student employees are overseen by leadership.&nbsp; [[http://www.txaib.org/images/txaib/pages/aib_consulting.html http://www.txaib.org/images/txaib/pages/aib_consulting.html]]

The university offers great resources to enable faculty entrepreneurship.&nbsp; Faculty are allowed to participate in nearly all of the programs run by <u>CNVE</u>&nbsp; which enables them to be introduced to and educated in entrepreneurship, and there are numerous institutions that provide commercialization of research.

<u>BCS Chamber</u> is the local chamber of commerce.&nbsp; The BCS Chamber is unique in it’s its very strong commitment and involvement in the local community.&nbsp; <u>CNVE</u> is developing a stronger relationship with the chamber, the first steps being induction of several student startups (primarily from <u>Startup Aggieland</u>) as members.
