Changes

Besides being a par part of SWE and promoting STEM, I am also a teaching assistant (TA) for a class devoted to freshmen engineers at the Saint Louis University (SLU). These students are either majoring in mechanical or aerospace engineering and the course helps them understand what engineering entails. Many go into it because they see that the field is growing and that there is a decent amount of money to be earned. Therefore, my goal as a TA is to clarify their definition of engineering by drawing from my own observations and experiences. I also help students through the challenges of their first year study with study tips, creating assignments. In other words, I do my best to help them figure engineering out and ensure that this is the correct area of study for them.
