Isaac is a highly involved student at Texas Tech studying Computer Science. He is the current President of Texas Tech Innovation Mentorship and Entrepreneurship (and former VP), as well as an officer in the Software Development Club. [[File:IsaacGriswold-Steiner.jpg|250x250px]] He has taken part in and help run 3 Day Startup at TTU, and is currently working with the Computer Science department to implement an auto-grading system that will reduce the workload for professors and TAs, as well as allow the department to implement more labs that will help students build a solid base of experience to expand on.
He found his interest in I&E when working on a startup in India with a friend, where they did contract software development. Although the venture eventually failed, not only did he learn to code during that time, but he also picked up a number of management and design thinking skills that help him to this day.
His software experience includes game development, machine learning, data science, and working with the Linux kernel. Next summer he will be interning at Microsoft in Fargo, ND. His long-term goal is to get involved with a project involving education and software.
