After taking aFrom his&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;diversity and education course in <span style="font-size: small;">experience as a student teacher his senior year of high school, Jay witnessed the flaws in our current education model system firsthand. Following This prompted him to reject the wisdom pursuit of his grandfather, he started focusing achievement and focus on developing becoming the best version of himself as a personthat he can be.</span> <span style="font-size:small;"><span class="s1">As part of this, eschewing from helping plan the “rat race” School of the education-industrial complexEngineering Welcome Week to creating inroads between student clubs, to create Jay is heavily involved in the engineering school’s student life he wants for himself. CurrentlyAs part of his fellowship with the University Innovation Fellows, Jay he is working with a team administration, faculty, and student leaders to build a website spanning the NYU school system that will allow both students and professors cultivate an environment conducive to connect innovation and collaborate on their ideasentrepreneurship. He's He’s also working to increase student internshipa techie at heart, being a finalist in the last Inno/research oppurtunities within Vention competition and reading up on the engineering schoollatest technologies. In his personal time, Jay enjoys strength training, reading, cooking and getting lost in New York walking aimlessly along the City while using Google Mapsstreets.</span><span style="font-size: larger;">&nbsp;</span>
