<span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Francis Atore, also known as “Frank,” is a senior pursuing a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech and a member of the honors&nbsp;college.&nbsp; Over the course of his college career, he has been fortunate to co-author two journal articles and embark on two internships. Francis was&nbsp;temporarily fired, by his research mentor, to motivate him to pursue and internship in his sophomore year. He has presented on graphene research&nbsp;at conferences including DOW-MIT Access and Texas Tech Undergraduate Research Conferences. He is currently pursuing a technology venture with&nbsp;his colleagues in software and hardware development for the nutrition and medical industry. In addition, he assists start-up companies in the African&nbsp;region to develop business plans and investor packages and hangs out at the nursing homes with the grey haired ones.</span></span></span>
