Francis Atore

UIF Candidate 2015


Francis Atore, also known as “Frank,” is a senior pursuing a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering at Texas Tech and a member of the honors college.  Over the course of his college career, he has been fortunate to co-author two journal articles and embark on two internships. Francis was temporarily fired, by his research mentor, to motivate him to pursue and internship in his sophomore year. He has presented on graphene research at conferences including DOW-MIT Access and Texas Tech Undergraduate Research Conferences. He is currently pursuing a technology venture with his colleagues in software and hardware development for the nutrition and medical industry. In addition, he assists start-up companies in the African region to develop business plans and investor packages and hangs out at the nursing homes with the grey haired ones.
