Eagar to remain engaged with the world of policy, Shalin joined the&nbsp;</span>''[http://www.sciencepolicyjournal.org/ Journal of Science Policy & Governance],&nbsp;''<span style="line-height: 1.5;">an online research journal and 501-c3 nonprofit organization, as Advancement Associatate.&nbsp;</span>In addition, he is currently interning<span style="line-height: 1.5;">&nbsp;in the Athens-Clarke County Office of Economic Development and serves as Web Administrator and Research Assistant for&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.5;">Tobin L. Smith, Homer A. Neal and Jennifer B. Outside of student engagement, on the side of policy, he has served as Policy Director for a highly contested political campaign, serves as a freelace writer for the [http://georgiapoliticalreview.com/ <i>Georgia Political Review</i>] and is a member of the inagural student editorial board for the [http://educationlawconsortium.org/education_law__policy_review <i>Education Law & Policy Review</i>].
