I'm a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineering student which will be done in May 2015. I'm currently the Vice President of Society Hispanic Professional Engineers chapter at California State University, Northridge. In this organization we emphasize in community service and providing Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) awareness to every community. I have also been acquiring some industry experience as former quality engineering intern and planner & currently a product development engineering intern. My job is helping me a lot to teach in teaching me and have me experience real engineering in the concept of business. At the moment, I also play a big role in my senior design team as we are currently in the making of our Hybrid Layered Manufacturing 3D (HLM3D) machine which will have both fuctions as a CNC mill and a 3D printer. This will be our prototype which we will compete this year against other schools. Finally, I decide to take a role as a University Innovation Fellow because I know it was meant to be since the start in the sense of innovation and entrepeneurship due to the fact that a lot of people are timid on it. I have a goal which is to exposed as many people as I can on these topics and to never feel fear on what theit their instinct is saying.
