Her passion for public health and sustainable international development led her to pursue a certificate in global studies focused on global health. Harinee pursues her interests in community development, sustainability, public policy and different cultures through involvement in Pitt Global Brigades, Pitt Environmental Action Coalition, the PA Center for Women & Politics, and South Asian Student Association. Harinee enjoys working with others and on interdisciplinary teams. She recognizes that pre-health profession curriculums can be rigid and wants to bridge the disconnect between her peers in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and the other schools of Engineering, Business, and Arts and Sciences.</span>
Harinee is excited to be part of and learn from a group of students who share an interest in innovation and entrepreneurship and want to improve their college campus.
