The motivation of create@cooper, according to Sharang, is to expand students at Cooper Union from course work to the real entrepreneurial adventure. He and his fellows have many hands-on project experiences but few continue to push their work, and most students focus on their own work. Sharang and his team felt necessary to “connect the dot”.
Create@cooper has four parts:
*
create and tell;
*
community workshops[[File,http://universityinnovation.org/images/4/49/Workshop.png]],
*
creator stories [[File:Share.png]]
*
journeys to creation.[[File:Journey.png]]

Faculties as well as many local entrepreneurs have been very supportive to create@cooper. The team reached three startups for sponsorship with all said yes.
Similar to the I2V workshop at Cooper Union, create@cooper incorporated the technological flavor of Cooper Union and engaged the local community of New York City.
The entrepreneurship path for create@cooper is first to raise community awarenesss, then involve more students, a[http://universityinnovation.org/images/d/d4/Creattell.pnghttp://universityinnovation.org/images/d/d4/Creattell.png] nd finally shape them to lead entrepreneurship.
