Apart from online promotion, we will hold a Promotional Booth event where students can learn more about friendship-building activities, sign up for events, and interact with friendly volunteers. It will be strategically located in a high-traffic area to maximize students’ engagement. Games, photo opportunities, and giveaways will be incorporated to attract students and break the ice, making it easier for them to start conversations and build connections. We hope this physical interaction complements the online promotion by providing a vibrant space for students to take the next step in making new friends.

* Have some of the masks they will be wearing at the event on display at the booth to give a picture of the event day
* A refundable deposit of HKD100 is required when signing up for the event to ensure they join the event without skipping. (deposit will be returned after event)

Inviting some popular guests, such as well-known student leaders, campus celebrities, or local influencers, to participate in our friendship-building activities. Their presence will create excitement and draw more students to the events, leveraging their social influence to encourage participation. These guests can engage with attendees through chatting and interactive sessions, making the activities more memorable and appealing. This strategy fosters a lively, inclusive atmosphere where students feel motivated to connect and make new friends.

* Guests will participate in the activity, but the participant won't know who he or she is, so everyone will have the chance talking to he or she* The guests list will be promoted on posters and social media promotion

The activities are designed to foster trust, communication, and collaboration among attendees through fun, inclusive challenges and games. UIF candidates who are trained student organizers, will lead and facilitate these events, ensuring a supportive environment that encourages shy or hesitant students to engage comfortably. This method can promote deeper connections, help break down social barriers, and create lasting friendships by emphasizing teamwork and shared experiences.

* (Ice breaking game) 4 pieces per puzzle, many sets of puzzles depending on the no.of participants. a puzzle piece taped under each participant's chair. Find those with the same puzzle and finish assembling the puzzle in 5 mins.* Provide film camera app for every participant which they can take picture of every moment they want to, at the end of the activity we can gather all the picture taken by the participants
